Encabeza la lista El escritor de Roman Polanski con 7 candidaturas, seguida de Lebanon con 5 (más la candidatura anterior a Mejor Descubrimiento), 3 tiene Bal (Honey) y 2 candidaturas Des hommes et des dieux, Carlos, Another Year y la española Celda 211 (mejor actor para Luis Tosar y mejor guión).

La ceremonia de entrega tendrá lugar el 4 de Diciembre de 2010 en Tallin y por primera vez en toda su historia podrá verse a través de la web dado que las cadenas televisivas europeas siguen sin dar apoyo a estos premios.
